The Jenny Fund Scholarship

The Jenny Fund is an educational equity fund that provides college scholarships to deserving, under-resourced students. It was established by TEBI board member, Jenny Weisz, who died in 2024. She was a lifelong advocate for children and created The Jenny Fund in her will. TEBI is honored that Jenny specified students from Lowndes County as one of the groups given priority consideration for scholarships awarded by The Jenny Fund.

To qualify for The Jenny Fund Scholarship, students must be:

  • referred by or involved with The Elmore Bolling Initiative

  • residents of Lowndes County, graduating from Central High or Calhoun High School

Scholarships are renewable and can cover up to 4 years of tuition. The priority deadline to apply is March 2, 2025. To start an application, visit 10000degrees.org/scholarships and select “The Jenny Fund”.
